Sports at Monadnock help students develop important life skills. In our team-based programs, students will learn and apply essential life skills like teamwork, leadership, discipline, time management and so much more. This will also build better friendships and round out students' social experiences. We encourage all students to play sports year-round at Monadnock.

MRMHS Family/Student Handbook

Grade Eligibility Excerpt from the Family/Student Handbook (pg. 42)
  1. All interscholastic athletic participants are required to be enrolled in four (4) academic courses AND have no failing grades (letter grade F).
  2. Eligibility for fall interscholastic athletic participation will be determined in the fourth quarter of the previous school year.*
  3. Students’ grades will be checked on Mondays every 2 weeks. This will be done by WIN advisors. If the student has a failing grade (letter grade F) WIN advisors will let the Athletic Director know and they will be put on academic probation for 2 weeks. Activity participants will still be able to participate in practice and games at their own discretion.  If the failure is not lifted after the 2-week probation period, the player will become ineligible to participate in any extracurricular activity until the grade becomes passing.
  4. The Athletic Director will meet with the student(s) to inform them of being on academic probation and will check in with the student routinely.
  5. Incompletes are not to be considered passing grades for purposes of eligibility.

Monadnock Regional Middle High School Athletic Department does not encourage nor recommend the use of any supplemental products that enhance athletic performance. We understand that these types of products exist and are sold online and in many local stores without legal restrictions. However, we at MRMHS encourage our athletes to attain their highest level of competitiveness possible through good nutrition, hard work, and dedication to their respective sports
