Monadnock Regional Middle/High School, the Home of the Huskies, serves the 7th through 12th-grade students living in the six towns of the Monadnock Regional School District, SAU #93. These southwestern New Hampshire communities include Fitzwilliam, Gilsum, Richmond, Roxbury, Troy, and the Swanzey. Monadnock was established in 1962 when the district was founded, and named after a nearby landmark, Mount Monadnock. The school is located on Old Homestead Highway in Swanzey Center, five miles from Keene, New Hampshire. It is a comprehensive high school accredited by the New Hampshire Department of Education and the New England Association of Colleges and Secondary Schools. Enrollment is approximately 840, with 265 students in middle school and 575 in high school.
