Early Dismissal for Appointments

Students and parents are encouraged to schedule appointments during non-school hours. If it becomes necessary because of illness or an emergency to leave school before the end of the day, students must bring a written note or an email must be sent to the attendance office requesting an early-dismissal pass from the office (PHONE CALLS ARE NOT ACCEPTED). Dismissal due to illness will only be made after seeing the school nurse who will make the decision regarding whether the early dismissal is justified and excused.  Students who leave the school grounds without permission or are in an unsupervised area on or off school grounds without proper authorization will be assigned appropriate disciplinary actions.
